CJL Engineering collaborated with Murphy Contracting and York Mahoning to rejuvenate the expansive 500,000 sq ft former Republic Steel warehouse in Youngstown, OH.
In place of the outdated radiant heaters and roof exhaust fans from the 1950s, the project introduced state-of-the-art Greenheck HVLS (High Volume Low Speed) fans, supplied by Air Control Products. These advanced, green technology-driven fans ensure optimal comfort across the vast entertainment space, demonstrating the significant impact of thoughtful renovation.
The transformation of this historic space stands as a testament to resilient cities and the power of modern engineering solutions. The logo on the side of the brewery proudly proclaims, “Tough Times Don’t Last, Tough Cities Do!”
This project not only revitalizes a piece of Youngstown’s industrial heritage but also sets a benchmark for future renovations.
