Each issue of our newsletter we like to introduce you, our customers to one of our employees. This issue we would like to introduce Ray Pasquinelli, one of our Project Managers in our Columbus branch.

What is your current position and role at Air Control Products?
I am currently a Project Manager in Columbus Ohio

How long have you been with ACP, and what other roles have you worked in, if any, since you started?
I started with ACP in December 2020 and have always had the same role.

What brought you to Air Control Products, and what was it about ACP that made you join our team?
We moved to Columbus from Pittsburgh in the early days of COVID.  I was working for an Industrial Controls Supplier at the time and the economic downturn was really starting to hurt business.  So, I decided to start looking for better opportunities.  Our kids had just graduated from high school so there was really nothing holding us back from moving.  A friend of mine knew Mike Greene and suggested I give him a call.  I already had some experience with ACP from my previous time in the HVAC industry and knew the Company’s reputation.  I reached out to Mike and the rest is history.  My wife and I agree that taking the job with ACP and moving to Columbus is best move we’ve ever made. 

What is your favorite part of your job?
This is a really tough question for me.  I think the part I like most about my job is the variety of tasks; every day is different than the last!  One minute I’m diving into plans and specs to put together submittals and the next minute I’m placing a large fan order that a customer needs on a jobsite in 2-Weeks! 

What are your hobbies – what do you do when not at work?
Since moving to Columbus, my wife and I have started doing more outdoor activities.  We just bought kayaks and plan to start doing some hiking.  In the spring, I bought a fishing rod and spent some much needed time on a little pier in Holland, MI (on the shore of Lake Michigan). 

Do you have a favorite family tradition?
My wife loves to put out our Elf on the Shelf.  Even now, that our kids are well into college, she will pull that thing out around Christmas and move it all over the house.  He’s been found in the microwave, sitting on artwork hanging from the wall, and sitting on the kitchen counter clinging to a bottle of wine.  The other family tradition we love is to be together on Christmas night and watch a movie together.  When the kids were little, it was always Polar Express.  Now, it varies.  Elf is a big hit.
