Job Title: Critical Controls Project Engineer
Job Summary:
The Critical Controls Project Engineer will work with consulting engineers, contractors, facility operators, and end users to assist in design and implementation of high performance lab airflow control systems and energy saving control systems.
Essential Functions
•Search for potential projects using various methods while qualifying each projects plan/specs and identifying potential bidders.
•Review and perform control system takeoffs using plan/spec.
•Perform site surveys and takeoffs while working with consulting engineers, contractors, and facility operators.
•Complete HVAC equipment and control system design assistance for consulting engineers, contractors, and end users while maintaining a competitive advantage.
•Coordinate and complete project submittals including equipment selections, control sequences, and controls wiring diagrams for review by the engineer of record.
•Manage project execution and flow while adhering to tight time constraints.
•Perform on-site control system startups including program sequences and troubleshoot as needed.
•Provide owners training as needed.
•Keep accurate records of all projects and report to management as needed.
•Work closely with other internal departments for support and to help build the brand.
•All other duties as assigned.

•Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
•Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements
•Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.
•Must be able to balance and climb on a ladder.
•Must be able to stand and/or sit for several hours at a time.
•Ability to work in hot, cold and/or loud environments effectively.
•Ability to squat, kneel, lift, push and bend.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
Travel
Local travel may be required as needed.
